A couple of next door neighbors both wanted to revamp their front yards and decided to make their land cohesive by working with the same landscape architecture firm. Both had existing but old designs that needed to be updated and filled in. One was linear and in the sun, and the other was curved and partly shaded by existing, mature trees.

The curved design contains woodland shrubs and shade-loving perennials towards the home. But at the street, where there’s sun, they have fruit and sunny meadow species. The same perennials are used in the linear design. A naturalistic row of blueberries connects the two properties. These were sweet to create for Sustenance Design.
